AWA (Albanian Woman in Audiovisual) is an organization dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights of women, girls, and youth in the audiovisual sector in Albania. Through its continuous efforts, AWA aims to create equal opportunities and increase women’s representation in this industry by combating gender discrimination and supporting new talent through training, mentoring, and concrete projects in the media and audiovisual fields. The organization is also committed to ensuring a safe work environment by promoting policies that protect women’s rights and encouraging their participation in decision-making positions.
