Following the successful completion of the second Masterclass under the “Breaking the Moulds, Shaping the Future” project, participants were invited to apply for the second round of the Mini-Grants Scheme, transforming the knowledge and practical skills gained during the training into original multimedia productions promoting gender equality and inclusive storytelling.
The call attracted 11 project proposals, submitted by journalists, content creators, and multimedia professionals who had completed the nine-day Masterclass. Following a transparent evaluation process, seven projects were selected for financial support, including six women-led initiatives and one led by a male beneficiary.
The selected projects were:
- “Women’s Votes in Albania” – Fjola Graçi
- “Lighter” – Delvis Bejleri
- “Women of the Night” – Xhezide Gurguri
- “Her Voice” – Bitila Shira
- “Tell Me” – Mirela Milori
- “The Professional Thrown Away Like a Rag” – Juljana Mezini (Ristani)
- “Territory and Gender: Who Shapes Our Cities?” – Jetmira Belegu
To ensure the successful implementation of the selected projects, beneficiaries participated in a comprehensive mentoring programme between July and September 2025, led by audiovisual expert Iris Canaj, who had previously been selected through an open call for mentors.
Through the second round of the Mini-Grants Scheme, the project continued to empower local journalists and content creators, enabling them to transform ideas into impactful audiovisual productions while strengthening gender-sensitive storytelling across Albania.
