Roster of Audiovisual Experts

Within the framework of the project “Breaking Moulds – Shaping the Future”, the Albanian Women in Audiovisual (AWA) invites qualified professionals to express their interest in joining its Roster of Audiovisual Experts.

About the Project

The “Breaking Moulds – Shaping the Future” project aims to strengthen media professionalism, with a particular focus on improving reporting on gender-based violence. Through a range of activities, the project promotes ethical and responsible journalism by supporting the development of professional capacities, gender-sensitive reporting, and institutional gender equality policies within the media sector.

The project also seeks to:

• strengthen the professional capacities of media and audiovisual professionals;
• establish and support new media platforms;
• foster a national network of women working in media and the audiovisual sector;
• promote mentorship and peer learning among women professionals to enhance collaboration, leadership, and safety within the media environment.

The project is implemented by Albanian Women in Audiovisual (AWA) in partnership with SCiDEV, with the financial support of the European Commission.

Application Procedure

Interested applicants are invited to submit the following documents:

• An Expression of Interest indicating the service(s) and area(s) of expertise for which they wish to be considered (please refer to Section 2: Purpose of the Call in the ToR);
• An updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) highlighting relevant qualifications and professional experience related to the Terms of Reference

Applications may be submitted in English or Albanian, either electronically via email or physically to the offices of Albanian Women in Audiovisual (AWA).

Selection Process

Applications will be assessed against the eligibility requirements and selection criteria outlined in the Terms of Reference.

Please note that inclusion in the Roster of Audiovisual Experts does not constitute a commitment to award a contract. The roster serves as a pool of qualified experts who may be contacted when assignments matching their expertise arise during the implementation of the project.
