Open call for participants – Masterclass II

Albanian Women in Audiovisual (AWA), in partnership with SCiDEV and with the support of the European Union, is pleased to announce an open call for journalism and multimedia students to participate in a four-day Masterclass on gender-sensitive media and audiovisual production as part of the “Breaking the Moulds, Shaping the Future” project.

The Masterclass offers participants the opportunity to learn from leading European experts in journalism, filmmaking, and audiovisual storytelling while strengthening their practical and creative skills in producing inclusive and impactful media content.

What will participants learn?

The programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical workshops, covering topics such as:

• Audiovisual and media planning and production;
• Scriptwriting that challenges gender stereotypes;
• Sound design and audio editing for sensitive storytelling;
• Camera techniques and visual storytelling.

Upon successful completion of the Masterclass, participants will also be eligible to apply for the project’s mini-grants scheme, with up to €2,000 available to support the production of gender-sensitive audiovisual projects.

Who can apply?

The call is open to:

• Journalism students;
• Multimedia students;
• Young aspiring media professionals interested in gender-sensitive reporting and audiovisual production.

• Durrës
• Shkodër
