Reporting Diversity Network

Summary

The Diversity Reporting Network is an initiative that brings together civil society organizations and media outlets from the Western Balkans, aiming to improve media representation of diversity in the areas of ethnicity, religion, and gender.

The project’s main activities include media monitoring to identify and counter hate speech, social media campaigns, training sessions for media professionals and NGOs, and support for regional projects through grants. In addition, national and regional conferences are organized to discuss and promote diversity.

Objectives

Social Media Campaign

Promoting results and encouraging debate on hate narratives through memes, cartoons, and educational videos.

Diversity Reporting Training

Training representatives of the Network, NGOs, and media to lead diversity training sessions.

Small Grants

Supporting 30 regional projects through small grants.

National and Regional Conferences

Organizing meetings to foster discussions and promote diversity among key stakeholders.
